On our second night we found a hostel for about 10 euro ($15 each). They also provided a nice breakfast on a rooftop terrace. We started out our day in Europe and ended up in Asia by lunch time by taking a cruise up the
Bosphorous. The Bosphorous is a strait between Europe and Asia that connects the Black Sea with the Sea of Marmara. There were a few palaces, mosques, and some very expensive houses on the shore.

After the cruise we managed to get back to Sultahnamet via city bus and a nice ferry ride. We made our way to the
Hagia Sophia (dedicated in 360 A.D.) which was much more impressive than the Blue Mosque.

We ended our day with some
meze and
raki in the
Beyoğlu district and a quick visit to the
Galata Tower.
