More pictures from first week




Ah, khachapuri. I could eat just that. It is a pie made of flaky dough with many kinds of fillings. This one is vegan for Orthodox Lent and has a bean filling.

Georgia's mineral water has been a favorite of every Soviet leader. As I like to say, it's the Pellegrino of the Soviet Union.

This khachapuri is called Imeruli and has melted cheese inside. It is a circle -- presumably always. In its definition in our Lonely Planet it is described as circular so I think it has no other options).
